Very good salad with chicken breast. This place is famous for the cheese burger

Nice restaurant within the old city. The location is charming: a hold house with paintings on the walls and windows. One of the waitress spoke English. Prices are ok for swiss standards. I have one of the specialties: spatzl amd deer with mushroom sauce. Highly recommend if you happen to be in Olten

Cool atmosphere in a very folk environment. You sit in a shared table and even if you don't speak german you will be able to talk to other people. I've eat the house chicken cooked in the oven and it was really good. Can't wait to come back!!! You must like curry

The Rathskeller in Olten has a mural on the outside depicting a local legend. Inside it is cozy and decorated with old wood. There are many Swiss weapons adorning the walls whichever way you look. The atmosphere is relaxed and the lighting is comfortable. Of all the menu items, I would recommend the hamburger.

Lovely city centre seating, good burger, vegetarian options could be a bit more inspired. I had a vegi burger, which here has no patty, just a slice of raclette with the other burger trimmings. However, because the bun is toasted, the gherkin and sauce and onion tasty and the raclette salty, it's actually pretty good. Chips and pasta also good, and the draught beer great.
