Make time to join the various tours available from West Coast Tours, you won’t be disappointed. Recommended by a friend who experienced the 2 hour trip, we managed to get a last minute cancellation for the 1 hour tour to see the wildlife and enjoy hearing about the history of the area. Skipper and tour guide was very knowledgeable and the trip was relaxed and safe. We definitely recommend this family business when you are in you are in town. Bookings in advance by calling the mobile number provided and it’s a cash ticket. ( no credit /debit cards )

Fantastic trip! A must do in Oban. The owner and his staff are welcoming and friendly. We did the 2-hour trip and it was an amazing opportunity to see seals (and pups!) and porpoises. The scenery is stunning. Make sure you take a jacket with you as it can get cold out in the sea. Binoculars are provided. During the tour, the captain talks about the history of the area and allows enough time to admire the views and take pictures.
Great mackerel fishing trip with my 5 & 6 yr old. Nice safe boat. Captain knew where to go and within minutes we hauled in 12 mackerel! Saw seals, sea eagle and porpoise along the way. Great fun and value. We will be back

I called this morning to book this tour and spoke to Linda, the owners wife. She told me to come along at 2 for the tour. I arrived at 1.30 after hanging about Oban all day. Linda arrived and told me she had no space., although a young couple next to me had only booked 10 minutes previously. She tried to explain this saying they had spoken to her husband, blatant lies as the young man told her in my presence it was her he had spoken to 10 minutes before. Lied to my face with no remorse on being caught! I have booked with North pier tours. The girl here told me that Linda constantly double books in case people don't turn up! There was a young Chinese couple who had also booked with Linda and been turned away. This isnt representative of the people of Oban, which is a lovely place. Avoid argyll tours and lying Linda at all costs!!!
