You can't do everything online. That's why Wickes is so good - you can get what you need when you want it. The click n collect service is great, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The huge range of timber products is so better than anywhere else.

I do prefer a B&Q to this company as I feel they have more choice. But I cannot fault the helpfulness of staff here who went out of their way in order to find a rare product I was after. They did not sell it in the end but I was so grateful that they did not give up until they helped me to know where I could find it. This is excellent customer service. Also it does not seem to be too busy which is actually a bonus for customers who go around with a great big flatbed trolley. The space available when going to the tills though is quite limited I found, but this is a minor adjustment required.

Helpful staff, but the store is well overdue for a makeover. If the Wickes logo outside gets any rustier - it's going to fall off its pedestal. Nottingham deserves a more modern store serving the full range of products.
