We were a bus load of tourists who took the ferry to Orkney and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was a sunny day, but as we passed the Old Man of Hoy, it was a bit misty so we did not get the bets of views. Embarkation was very easy as we were for passengers and the ferry was clean and comfortable with all the amenities required for the crossing. I would definitely used Northlink Ferries again.
Great roomy overnight berth complete with TV and internal shower room and toilet. Excellent service from staff.
Good 90min ride to Orkney.
