I have been a patient here for over a decade. I was pleased with Heather, the PA. I had one surgical procedure with Dr. Young, which was a nightmare. To close the incision, he wadded up my skin and it looked and felt like a big mass of mess. Yes, it left an unsightly scar. I continued to see Heather. We were in the midst of treating another problem, when I had a follow-up appointment and was badgered loudly (so that the entire reception room was listening) at the front desk for owing money. We had not received any bill and insurance should have covered everything that had been done. I left the building embarrassed and humiliated without seeing Heather. The person at the front desk, knowing she was in the wrong, called about one and a half hours later, not to apologize, just to say I should have stayed. Very timely! Why not catch me as I'm walking away?! My husband payed the bill the next day, even though I have not finished with the treatments for my problem. I booked another appointment with Heather and the day before, they called to tell me she had quit! There may be a few workers there who are caring and civil; however the ones I know the best who fit that description have quit. In trying to find another provider, I have heard of many others who have left Rocky Mountain for another business. There are other dermatologists in the valley who are more professional. Beware if you think this is a reputable place.

If there was a zero star option, that is what I would choose. I scheduled an appointment here based off my primary care doctor's recommendation. I wish I had gone to his other recommended place. My experience here was horrible. I was being seen about some skin problems I had been experiencing for over a year. Scott Macdonald kept telling me he had no idea what my problem could be and finally decided on doing two biopsies. I was told to come back in two weeks to get my sutures out when nurses I know personally were telling me they shouldn't be in for over 10 days at the most. This resulted in scarring that they assured me wouldn't be a problem. When I went back to discuss the results of the biopsy and get the sutures removed, Macdonald was very dismissive and told me that I needed to get all 3 of my dogs into a vet to be tested for fleas (they've all been seen by the vet at least once since my problem started) and to have an exterminator come to my house. And if that didn't work, then to come back. After admitting there was nothing he could do for me, they even scheduled a follow up appointment. Why would I go back if there's nothing you can do and what exactly would you be following up on? I've been very upset about the experience and to take it to the next level, I got a letter in the mail today about how my information was stolen from the pathologist that they sent my information and biopsy to. What a joke.

They are way above perfection, they were awesome. My mom said they took her every step of what they are doing. Christina the nurse was so nice and awesome she new what she was doing and was gentle enough for my 76 yr old mom. Fantastic job to the doctor who did her surgery she was very thorough. and to Dr young is a very special doctor who cares.

I have been to Heather several times and I have had nothing but the best care. She makes me feel comfortable and takes the time to explain what is going on and makes sure all of my questions are answered. She really does care about you and you feel that at each visit. The rest of the office staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

You will not find a more compassionate staff and doctor anywhere. Dr Young has been in practice for 26 years and built an incredible legacy here in Cache Valley. All of the providers I’ve been to are outstanding and the medical spa has EVERYTHING. Strongly recommend!!

Question—why is my appointment at 2:50 and I have been checked in waiting for 30 minutes so far? It’s a very unfortunate situation...my time is just as valuable as this office ‘s time. I’m still waiting..........I have other things I could be doing while I wait......there’s got to be a better system......it’s hard to rate my visit. Kassie and Heather were great! So I’d give them a 5 star!!! But the waiting .....a 1-2 Star. There has got to be a better way to inform patients of the time factor. A text to say we are running behind.....so that I can spend my time more wisely. Something to think about. I’m not angry just perplexed about the system in such a beautiful office. There seemed to be plenty of workers around....that maybe could have monitored the time or let me and all the others in the waiting room know they were over 30 minutes behind.
