This has become our favourite spot in Nice, and a must every time we visit the food is exquisite and Marie and Jean-Michel are such wonderful people. He cooks the food after his great-grandmothers recipes, and she serves the guests with amazing food and great wine. Truly an authentic place - should be mandatory for anyone looking for real French cuisine!

The owners are wonderful and it feels very personal, they got to know you and it was like visiting family for a meal except the meal was outstanding. You can contact the owner for a reservation through Whatsapp, which is a must because it's always full.
I cannot stress how great this place is. If you don't go whilst in Nice, then go back to Nice to come here. The foie gras was absolutely amazing, the duck extremly tasty and tender. We also tried lamb that was done in the same flavory way. One piece of advice: go there with your stomach empty! The owners are wonderful and it feels very personal, they got to know you and it was like visiting family for a meal except the meal was outstanding.
However, considering the small venue, this restaurant usually requires early reservation. We were lucky because Marie, being the warm host, arranged for us to eat there the next day. Let me tell you, the food there is absolutely mouth watering. Typical southern French food, so heavy but delicious. Marie explained where the food came from and gave us her recommendations.
Created a vegetarian dish for me (only vegetarian in a company of 7) even though this was definitely not on the menu. Everyone almost finished their overly generous portions of birds of layered flavors. Owners are an experience all on their own. Highly recommend. You will not regret the experience!!!!
