Just visited Owens whilst on holiday and bought some Brisket Bombs. Oh my goodness how delicious they were. Now really looking forward to eating the other goodies we bought today. We will be back Owens. Class butchers!

We run The Stables Guesthouse in Newton Stewart (so we make a lot of breakfasts). We often get excellent comments & reviews about the breakfasts. We think a good part of that is down to the pork sausage and back bacon (cut on no.8 so it’s a bit thicker than standard) that we buy from J D Owen butchers, where we always get super quick and friendly service
The best butcher! We visit at least once a year when we are on holiday at West Barr. Been going for 12years! The lady normally remembers us and our order! Great service. Amazing quality meat. Top buy, marinated lamb meatballs 10/10!
Fantastic local produce at reasonable prices,was a local lifeline to many who were shielding during a 5 month lockdown,with their fantastic delivery service. First class
