Bacaro is located in New York, United States on 136 Division St. Bacaro is rated 4.4 out of 5 in the category event venue in United States. Rustic Venetian tavern for sharing cichetti, Venetian-style small plates paired with Northern Italian wines. Covertly located down a little winding street a block south of Canal. An inside and outside staircase both lead you to an underground catacomb of exposed brick archways with wooden communal farm tables, illuminated by soft lighting and warm candles reminiscent of the streets of Italy.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms (superb), the eggplant marinara, and the fritto misto. All fantastic. But the best part was the panacotta - the best I’ve tried in my life. Nice amd cozy atmosphere, and good service as well. Returning for sure!

One of the best places in NYC in a small intimate atmosphere. Food is unique and always a great meal. Staff is welcoming & very attentive.

Had dinner here with friends a few weeks ago. I loved the wine selection and service. The actual quality of the pasta and the fact it was served on paper plates kind of made the dining experience low rent to us. I understand it’s covid precautions, but saw other patrons went recently and they had ceramic. Just would go for the wine next time, if at all.

This is a wonderful spot on the LES for a date night or a group meal. The restaurant is beautiful, with a very unique, rustic vibe. Everything we ate was amazing, in particular the cavatelli duck ragu and the spaghetti con vongole. The apps and desserts were spot on as well. Finally, the service was warm and attentive.A true NYC gem! We will definitely be back!

Had dinner here last week. Very pretty restaurant with two floors, though main dining is downstairs. The food was fine, except for the broccoli rabe which was way over cooked. The staff was superior and immediately said they would cook up another batch or take it off the bill. The dessert on the other hand was excellent!!

Cute little spot between Kiki's and Forgetmenot that we discovered while waiting in line. Waiters were quick and wore masks the entire time, and menu can be pulled up via QR code on that is taped to the table. We tried the tequila cocktail and bourbon cocktail. We didn't order food but noticed a lot of other tables who were enjoying meals. Great place to grab drinks - the street is lively and always packed in the evening!

The atmosphere and decor here is absolutely incredible. It looks like you entered an old rustic cellar and there are small semi private rooms in the back. Place is good for groups and has fantastic food. Staff was friendly as well. Highly recommend the pasta Nero and rice balls

Came here for a birthday with a party of 12. We started off with a meat/cheese platter - pretty standard. Then we ordered some of the razor clams, which were pretty good. For my entree, I had the steak, which was overcooked and a bit bland. Plus it took forever for the food to come out. Not worth the high price tag for mediocre food.
