We came here on a Friday night; the wait wasn't terrible with waitlist. All in all, the restaurant is very authentic. The menu was offered in German and English; there were many options for drinks. Even the smell in the air reminds me of the German pubs I have been to. We ordered the Bratwurst and the Sauerbraten. The serving size was very satisfying. My only complaint of this place would be that they don't serve Schweinshaxe

Perle Night Club is a fun place to check out. Especially on Fridays, they have their decade showdowns, so 1 dollar drinks at 5, and a dollar up per hour after that. Perle Night Club is a great place for happy hour after work in north beach.
If you grow up in an actual white-trash place like I did, a trip to Butter will remind you of an alcoholic version of your childhood.
