The customer service needs to be hugely improved to deserve higher rating than 1. Sales staff make promises and once the contract is signed you don't hear from them. Lead times are not met, processes are not in place, communication is very poor, you are left in the dark right the way through the installation process, no information is provided in advance which would put your mind at ease and clearly guide you through the process. I have repeatedly made it clear that I expected clear communication and that every aspect of the franking machine's set up is covered but I kept receiving apologies when things didn't go to plan. Various excuses are provided which can be accepted but hardly help when questions and verifications could have been asked and obtained by a company who needs to be very knowledgeable in what they say they do. Also, be advised that Nationwide Franking Sense do not allow you to cancel your contract with them even during the usually accepted 14 day cooling off period. If you can, look elsewhere as the time wasted on this seemingly simple process of installing a franking machine is still not complete and has so far taken more than 3 months.

THOUGHT I HAD MET A REALLY NICE GUY/REP WHO SAID WOULD SAVE US FROM ANOTHER LARGE COMPANY FROM RIPPING US OFF AND SUPPLYING US WITH THE WRONG COPY MACHINE FOR OUR SMALL FAMILY RUN BUT VERY BUSY ESTATE AGENTS OFFICE. WAS INSTALLED IN JANUARY. WE WERE SO DELIGHTED AT FIRST SEEMED TO BE THE WRIGHT MACHINE THEN WHILE PRINTING BROCHURES WHICH IS EXPECTED FROM ESTATE AGENTS CONSTANTLY THE MACHINE STARTED TO JAM AND CHEW LOTS OF PAPER. WE CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE SEVERAL TIMES AND ENGINEERS CAME OUT AND COULD NOT FIND A FAULT WITH OUR NEW MACHINE BUT THIS STILL CONTINUED. THE ENGINEERS CAME OUT AND USED LOTS OF OUR COPY PAPER AND PRINTED WHICH WE GOT BILLED FOR BUT NO SOLUTION WAS FOUND. THEY EVEN HAD MY STAFF INSTALLING PARTS WHICH THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO VIA TELEPHONE INSTRUCTIONS. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A DIRECTOR AS TOLD THIS WAS ALSO A FAMILY RUN FIRM BUT NO ONE REPLIED. DUE TO MY ILL HEATH AND HOSPITAL APPOINTMENTS THIS YEAR, TIME LAPSED MY STAFF WHERE TRYING NOT TO BOTHER ME BUT HAD TO GO INTO WORK TO REQUEST MAY BE A NEW PRINTER ? AS FEELS THAT THIS KIND AND CARING COMPANY MIGHT HAVE SUPPLIED THE WRONG MODEL. EVENTUALLY AFTER LOTS OF PHONE CALLS AND STRESS IN MY OFFICE THEY AGREED TO CHANGE FOR A DIFFERENT MODEL, SUPPOSE TO BE QUICKER AND MORE EFFICIENT. BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AFTER MORE TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS TO THE POOR LADY ON THE RECEPTION NO MORE RESPONSE. WE REQUESTED THAT THEY TAKE THE MACHINE AWAY AND END OUR CONTRACT AS FEEL THAT THEY ARE IN BREACH DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO MEET THEIR PROMISES, THEY HAVE IGNORED OUR REQUEST. WE CANCELLED OUR DERECT DEBIT AND NOW WE HAVE BEEN ISSUED A SOLICITORS LETTER DEMANDING MONEY FOR A MACHINE WHICH IS SAT IN A CORNER NOT DOING ANYTHING AS WE HAVE HAD TO GET A REPLACEMENT. I HAVE BEEN OFF WORK FOR MOST OF THE YEAR AND HAD TO GO INTO THE OFFICE TO TRY AND RESOLVE. THIS IS STILL ON GOING. WE ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS COMPANY AND WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGIAN.

Appalling service. Staff are clearly 'hard sales' trained...not interested in building relationships. If I treated my customer that way then I wouldn't have a business.

They will rip you off. Service is rubbish. Salesman tell you lies to get the sale. Don't buy ink of them because they are refilled and don't work. Company run by muppets.
