The Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge (locally pronounced carrick-a-reed) is a rope bridge near Ballintoy in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The bridge links the mainland to the tiny island of Carrickarede (from Irish: Carraig a' Ráid, meaning ock of the casting\). It spans 20 metres (66 ft) and is 30 metres (98 ft) above the rocks below. The bridge is mainly a tourist attraction and is owned and maintained by the National Trust. In 2018, the bridge had 485,736 visitors. The bridge is open all year round (subject to weather) and people may cross it for a fee.

Absolutely stunning and breathtaking place. Going over the rope bridge while 90ft over the water is heart pounding! It was a little crowded, but that's the be expected by the sheer beauty of this place. Ireland is a must visit country for anyone in this world and Carrick-a-Rede is a must visit while in Ireland!

Visited the Bridge on a tour from Dublin. I would highly recommend it. A scene from Game of Thrones was also filmed here.

Beautiful site, but can be incredibly crowded at times. I thoroughly enjoyed the hike and crossing over, but the experience was tempered by the traffic jam of people when I was there. The hike from the visitor's center to the bridge was fairly low-effort; however, the return hike can be physically challenging for some, especially if you have any mobility issues. There are benches to stop and take a quick rest, but they were pretty crowded when I hiked back - just something to keep in mind.

Beautiful coastal walk. Interesting spot and great to learn about the fishing technique used by the fishermen that use to stay here. Unique spot, shame the fish aren’t as plentiful as they use to be.
