Beautiful and informative, 10 minutes of anyone's life just to read them will not disappoint. Have a look round and you will find the iconic figures that show you the difference of being in London and inner London

A fascinating memorial that you could easily walk past without noticing. The detail is very intricate and the list of WW1 submarines, a total surprise. A very sensitive, detailed and emotional memorial.
The National Submarine War Memorial is a memorial dedicated to the submariners of the submarine arm of the Royal Navy. It's located between Blackfriars Bridge and Waterloo Bridge on Victoria Embankment. The statue itself is a basal relief of submariners in the center flanked by 2 plaques listing the submarines lost, one for World War One and the other for World War Two. The monument is unusually in having mini sculptures of anchors all around the relief. Unusual because I didn't think submarines used anchors. If you're in the Victoria Embankment area anyway, it's worth a small detour.
It’s so pretty
