As for me it’s the best restaurant with traditional Ukrainian cuisine. If you are tourist or just looking for a worthy Ukrainian food, it is in this place. Prices are really good, it is cheaper then in other restaurants in a center ! It is not far from the center, about 10 minutes by car. Close to metropolitan, 10 minutes by walk . Atmosphere is always friendly, and very traditional. I think, you can even feel the spirit of western Ukraine. Waiters wear Ukrainian national costume. Interior is wooden, also traditional, even stuffed wild animals on the wall)) There are two floors: first and basement. The design is slightly different in different rooms, for example it is interesting design in the basement :) So you can choose, where you want to sit. Enough space and tables for big companies, families. Also a lot of tables for, a two persons meals. I often eat here with my boyfriend. Always Ukrainian music is playing. In the evenings, they have live music, it is very nice. (I don’t know in what days and how often, I think it is often) Once in winter , I saw that they gave a shot of vodka with appetizer for a living guests ))))
This restaurant is trully awesome! And, as a vegetarian, I do not say it lightly about a traditional Ukrainian cuisine place. The food is simply divine, I tried several of their dishes already and all were superb. And their menu is so extensive that even vegetarians will have myriad dishes to choose from. And if you don't have such specific preferences, you can go there for weeks every day and never repeat a meal. Service is professional and very pleasant. They know their stuff, they are unitrusive, yet are always there when you need them. And to top all that of, insides are beautifully decorated - with stout wooden benches and wall-paintings. This is hands-down the best, in my personal experience, restaurant in Kyiv.
