One of the best places for consistent quality of food. We have tried paella at fancy restaurants in Malaga and we always come back to El Rescoldo for the friendly helpful service. As a display of the consistency we came to Malaga in 2016 and in 2019 it is still the same food we tried when we first visited.

I would give 5 star for the food which was really good! Only the service could improve. It was ok but lack some Andalucian warmth! Would recommend anyway!

Best tapas I've tried in Malaga. Really nice and friendly staff, very helpful. Shrimp croquettes are very good and the cod is very soft and fresh served with garlic.
