A beautiful place for authentic Bengali food, not only for Nonveg lovers but also for Vegetarians. Enjoyed some vegetarian food in Bengali cuisine fir the first time and it was a delightful experience. Beetroot chops and Mocha chops are most recommended in appetizers. For mains you can go with Kaanchkola Kofta and Koraishuti Kochuri. Complete your meal with an authentic dessert - Narkel Gur Patishapta. Really good service and beautiful ambience. All safety protocols followed.

Rajbari Rasoi: An authentic Bengali Restaurant with special delicacies they are proud of! The dishes I had were: 1)Chicken Chop: 2 huge pieces of chicken chops. One of the most popular street foods of Bengal. This dish was absolutely soothing in taste! They're basically Bengali chicken kheema balls! 2)Beetroot Veg Chop: An alternative to the chicken chop, the ones who can't enjoy the non-vegetarian version , they surely can have this treat! Lovely in taste! 3)Bhetki sorshe with steam rice: Bhetki sorshe is a Bengali fish curry consisting of Bhetki Fish - Barramundi fish. It is a boneless fish cooked in mustard and poppy seeds sauce. A perfect curry to get your tastebuds dancing! A must try! 4)Narkel Gur Patishapta: A soft and melting wrap consisting of jaggery and coconut as the filling. Something different to try if you haven't tried it and love to explore your sweets! Overall a great visit. This place has a calm ambience and the service is pretty great and quick. The attendant there explains you every dish very nicely and gives you suggestions based on your likings! A must visit!

Rajbari Rasoi is a go to place for every person who wishes to have authentic Bengali food, with an ambience that give you the Kolkata vibes. We tried the following items: Chicken Bakura: A great chicken starter. This start had pan fried chunks of boneless chicken with a lemony finish. The taste was superb and it's a great start to the meal! Fish chops: This dish contains 2 deep fried fish cutlets. A great fish starter and goes very well with the mustard dip provided along side it. Prawn malai curry: A superb coconut based prawns curry. These were medium sized prawns. The curry was simply amazing, completely loved it! This goes great with steam rice as a combination! A must try in the main course for all! Narkel Gur Patishapta: These are semolina flour pancakes stuffed with a combination of coconut and jaggery. This is an authentic Bengali sweet which Rajbari rasoi has mastered and it's a must have! The service was very prompt and the ambience and presentation give you a very nice old Calcutta vibe and it's a great place to be! Rajbari Rasoi is a must go to place for all people who want to have authentic and mouthwatering Bengali cuisine!

Rajbari Rasoi is a place serving Authentic Bengali Food and if you are a fan of Bengali food then you must try the food out here. This restaurant is located in the hearts of Lokhandawala, Andheri West. The setup in this restaurant reminds you of Bengal and its culture. We really enjoyed the soft and melodious Bengali music that they were playing throughout. The staff and the owner were really humble and helped us select some dishes which we could enjoy. We ordered 1) Beetroot Chop - Rolls made of beetroot paste, mixed with crunchy vegetables and spices rolled in bread crumbs and fried till crispy golden brown. These rolls were accompanied with a mustard based dip. Sweet and crunchy rolls along with sour and tangy mustard dip are a nice combo. 2) Fish Butter Fry - Fillets of sweet water fish called Bhetki was used to make this dish. These fillets were dipped in batter and fried in butter till golden brown, served with mustard dip. The taste of the sweet water fish is really mouthwatering. A must try dish here. 3) Kaanchkola Kofta - Boiled raw banana shaped like a pattice and served with mild and tangy gravy accompanied with Koraishuti Kochuri. These are roundels made of flour and stuffed with Green peas mixture. The taste was really awesome and this is one of the authentic Bengali dishes that is a must try. Its recommended for health conscious people. 4) Begun Bhaja - Roundels of Eggplant (Baingan) shallow fried till crispy and topped with salt and red chilli powder. A nice sider to go with the main course. We thoroughly enjoyed the food out here and hope that people will like it as well.
