I can't make up a number high enough to show how much I would reccomend Estes Hatchery! Our chicks arrived healthy and happy! I had a few questions about shipment and every email, including a response to how much we love our new additions were answered quickly and with the utmost kindness. We ordered 8 total pullets and received 12! My husband is so in love he's building an even bigger coop than we have to give them all room !

I called before coming in saying that I would like to get eggs for a school project and they said that’s totally fine and to come in on Monday. I drive an hour to get there on Monday and they say I cannot buy eggs because I’m not a “teacher”. I am a well educated student who was doing a project on ducks and how to raise them. The project was taking place at my school but was in no way ran by the school except by association. I’m very disappointed in this hatchery and I do not see any reason why I cannot buy eggs when I am willing to pay full price for them as if they were ducklings. There would have been no harm in that. Sadly it was a waste of gas money when I was not told on the phone that there would be an issue. I wasn’t told I needed special school papers or verification or that I needed to be a teacher. I chose their establishment to spend my money and that was a mistake. I proceeded to cry as I walked out the door for a long drive home empty handed.
Very nice people and good healthy chickens.
