Quite a small service station, but I found it to be very quiet and clean. Toilets are upstairs which is slightly odd, but it’s an easy service station to get in and out of.

Well set up and presented service station with good mixture of food options. Took the chance to grab a new Rebel Burger (Vegan) from Burger King. Awesome.

Friendly and clean place. Petrol at a great price. Question is why do other petrol stations do not follow price cuts. They can put it up fast enough but rarely bring it down. The monopolies commission should investigate this. We should be so lucky. ?.

Visited Greggs which is situated outside the main entrance to the services. I ordered an omelette and bacon roll with a tea. Luckily I opened the roll before eating otherwise I would have been visiting all the services on the way down the M5. I returned the roll and the young lady serving seemed to think the black charred thing under my bacon was acceptable. This is a place that refuses to keep sausage rolls warm! An alternative sausage was given as there were no more omelettes left.... I guess I must have had the last one. Greggs gets 1 star although I have rated Frankley services 3. Fuel is very reasonable here for a motorway services and they do the best they can for the age of the building.

Relatively small car park on this side, but coming off the motorway is easy, although then the signage for where to go isn't amazing. Burger King as you walk in. Costa on the left just after it. There's a Lucky Coin dead ahead, alongside an M&S and a WH Smith Toilets to the right at the back. Also a usual/basic foodcourt and toilets you'd expect to see. Place looks really old and tired, some parts from the outside look more like an industrial warehouse than a restful place you'd come for a break driving!
