A wonderful week with great people at an amazing location in Tuscany. A really well-organised course for professional people who want to improve their English, 100 hours of speaking activities, wonderful food and a great experience not only for the learners but also the Anglo’s, too. If you love speaking and meeting people from all over the world this is the place to try for sure. I have tried many language immersions around Europe and this has been the best by far. A brilliant idea and must do experience. It is not only a fantastic opportunity for Italian speakers wanting to improve and practice their English, but also for English speakers looking for a unique social and cultural experience. The location of the programme I attended at Abbazia di Spineto in Tuscany is without doubt one of the most stunning places that I have ever stayed in. All of the staff from Speak in Italy and the staff from the abbey looked after everyone on the programme so well. It was relaxed yet really well organised. I wasn't too sure what to expect when I applied, but from the moment of meeting everyone in Florence I felt at ease and enjoyed everything about the whole week!

Speak is an excellent opportunity for Italians to learn and practice their English and for Anglos to learn about the Italians and their culture and visit Italy less like a tourist ... Faye and Paolo provide witty, engaging leadership for the group. The Abbey is a lovely venue (owned by a gracious woman) with excellent service and breathtaking views and trails to wander on! Visits to local villages in the Tuscany region are great getaways -- vineyards, olive trees, castles and cathedrals line the landscape. Bella!

Speak has been an amazing experience as an Anglo. The people were lovely, the location was incredible and all I had to was speak English for a week to stay there! I thought it was too good to be true! It was an intense week but I loved every second of it. There was free time to relax, excursions to picturesque and cultural Italian towns and amazing four course meals every night! I wouldn’t hesitate to come again as an Anglo!

This was an unforgettable experience. Months later, I am still reflecting on my wonderful memories. Lasting friendships were made and learning was not exclusive to those hoping to increase their language skills. Everyone discovered something new. The food was inspiring, the scenery was unforgettable, the way our days went by so easily, and most of all, the new friendships we made.These moments will forever hold a place in my heart. The location for our experience is a living breathing work of pure artistry. Its a poem that reverberates within your soul, a painting whose colours tattoo your pulse. The Abbey and her staff are welcoming and kind. Many thanks to the Speak staff for making the experience so very special for everyone. You really are very good at what you do! And... I am looking forward to seeing you all again.
