Great event curated by a woman who was energetic, pleasant, and involved. She did everything she could to make sure I had a good time. I would totally come to another event; it was much easier to meet people in this new city after attending an event here. I highly recommend you check the next one out!

I'm posting a review in response to L. Alda's review of Mingle Around. I am the business owner. Mingle Around has NEVER had an event at either of the two venues you have mentioned. You are complaining about a different speed dating company, that I will not mention. It was NOT Mingle Around! I have requested that Google look into this and remove. Meetup is a large website that posts many events, not just Mingle Around events. I believe you have us confused with another company. Please remove your review.
Stay away! Event was falsely advertised. Two separate sites linked together promoting the event on the Meetup website. Yet, each site reported different information. One site read \women wait listed\ the other showed no such information giving the potential attendee a false impression of actual and accurate data in regard to the event. Event was to take place at the Temple Bar. The Temple Bar changed hands weeks ago and is now called the Beef and Barley. How's that for a \How do you do?\ The event was disorganized and poorly run, attendees were left to figure out what to do. Low number turn out, more women than men. Mingle Around KNEW they had low numbers and should have canceled the event! Women who were present were annoyed and disgusted because we were misled. Several women bailed because it was awkward and uncomfortable due to the low numbers. Later on, after the event had taken place, a page was given on the Mingle Around website entitled, \How was the Meetup\? A man who was NOT present at the event wrote, \Cool event\. I tried to get a refund but it is a no go thus far. Read the yelp reviews in regard to Mingle Around. This is a business, the owner(s) need to get their act together, and stop selling shabby and misleading events! Check this out taken directly from Yelp... I haven't been there many years ago,But there Italian beef was Delious but small!
The last event I attended was extremely disappointing. Many of the men just stood around and was afraid or too stuck up to mingle. Half of the men did not participate in the ice breakers, they just stood around. Also, the admission is 15-20 and valet parking is 14 and combined that is very expensive for an event with no snacks.
