The girls are always so friendly and amazing at what they do. The salon is kept so clean and safe during this Covid period

Staff all lovely but I would not recommend this salon at all. I went in with completely fresh natural hair as have not died it in over 5 years. I booked for balayage with a salon director. I asked to have a chocolate colour with red Under tones and have come out with very dark basically black hair on top with a tiny bit lighter basically dark chocolate brown underneath with no sign of balayage. I naturally had lighter streaks through the ends of my hair, which is where the lightness has shown up. I also asked for a big bouncy curly blow dry but ended up with a standard curly blow dry with hardly any volume. The start of my colour was started by the salon director but then passed off to more junior members including the washing my hair over a sink as they where having plumbing issues (something the stylist I paid for should of come and explained to me) the salon director then came back as started my blow dry but again half way through passed it off to a junior member and didn’t finish. When she came back I explained I wasn’t happy with my hair I understood they where having issues in the salon but that does not make up for my overall hair finish. I was offered to go back into have it corrected but after the overall finish even after washing my hair I would not go back. I was never offered a colour chart to discuss my base colour or the couloir going through my hair, and as I result I now have a colour that is far to dark for my naturally pale skin complexion. Yes I paid a discounted rate but that still doesn’t make up for the disappointment and upset of my hair being ruined. I went here off the back of recommendations but I would of had better treatment and professional standard of hair at a more reputable salon such as Toni and guy. If you have dark hair I do not recommend visiting here.

considering the owner is biracial you would think they would understand how to treat biracial hair unfortunately they don’t & I won’t be returning the experience was bad... the appointment was supposed to be with the ‘salon director’ which it wasn’t it was a stylist who clearly was struggling with my hair hence why I booked a more senior stylist in the first place.. I was still charged the salon director price of 150 when it should of been 110 they did not mention at any point before or during the appointment that I had a change of stylist.. I could tell I had a ‘stylist’ & not the salon director as they post their staff members on social media.. I was the last appointment of the day & felt I was being rushed out the door you could tell they wanted to all go home.. The end result was greasy & felt it was such a waste of time which is such a shame as I was excited for the appt.. They seem to do ok for certain hair types but if your hair type is 3b or above I would stay well away from this salon.

Rochelle and the team were fabulous and attentive from start to finish. From a very relaxing hair wash - we all know how easy it is to get this wrong from a simple splash to the Male up or not enough pressure - through to consultation where I worked through everything I disliked to where Rochelle inspired me with everything I would like. Going in for a restyle is always daunting. But the ideas flowed from my super talented stylist. I really did feel like a Queen whilst getting a little snippy chop. Thanks ladies.

Great atmosphere and service. All girls are lovely but had my hair done by Holly both times..colour and styled exactly how I wanted it. My hairs been in such great condition since I've been visiting too.. cant recommend The Dollshouse enough
