Always a beautiful, haunting place. The abbey was fouded in 1032 and there are still monks, living the ancient life. The place feels sacred as only ancient places and holy groves can feel.

Wonderful XXII century abbey with a lovely shopping corner to explore
i loved this place with its peaceful atmosphere. The church is very beautiful in its simplicity. It is possible to do a tour of all the buildings with a guide at a reasonable price of 15 for 3hours or you can choose to visit just one section. Inside there is a shop with food from the abbey and a bar where you can eat affettati and panini and of course abbey beers.
Take M3 to Corvetto and bus 77 to the abbey. Beautiful bell tower and art. Look at the choir stalls, all hand-carved. The outside courtyard is quaint. There is a toilet available. You can buy products there such as beer, liquors, soaps, and, numerous religious articles. Worth the trip if you're on town for more than a few days.
Totally worth the trip.... Sit in the garden with a drink and a honeybread enjoying the tranquillity
