I was pleasantly surprised and totally enjoyed my evening at Asparagus . The waitstaff was excellent & knowledgeable and the food was delicious with very generous portions . We never felt hurried even though the place was packed, being Valentine's day wknd. Give this gem a try, you won't be disappointed !

It’s unfortunate to say that I would have to rate the service at this place 0 stars if I could. My fiancé and I had been talking about ordering from this place for Valentine’s Day for months. Due to the pandemic, we planned to order a pick up order. I called at 12:00 PM and asked what would be the best way to order for dinner (it’s Valentine’s Day so I expected chaos) the woman on the phone stated I should place my order in for dinner as soon as possible due to the holiday. I thanked her and told her I would call back once I reviewed the menu. I called back before 1:00 PM with my order ready. This time a gentleman answered the phone. I explained I wanted to place a take out order and he said it would be an hour wait. I then asked if it was possible to place an order for dinner , he said he wasn’t sure how the kitchen would be doing at that time because of the holiday. I told him the woman I spoke to earlier said I would be able to place an order to be picked up for dinner (5 or 6 pm) he the stated “she was misinformed”. I then told him I would call back in 45 mins because we would prefer a fresh dinner. He said fine. I called back at 2:00 PM. A woman answered the phone. I told her I’d like to place an order for pick up and then she said “I’m sorry but our kitchen cannot accommodate any take out orders”. I then asked to speak to a manager in the nicest way possible because I just couldn’t understand why I was told 3 different things in a matter of 2 hours. When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up the phone. I understand it’s a holiday however I also understand this is supposed to be a “finer” dinning experience and I truly didn’t expect this.

SERVICE: Went here for NYE 2021 and waited for at least a good 15min before having to have to flag someone down...it was as if the waiter/waitresses overlooked us which is weird because we were basically in the middle of the dinning room. Anyway, once we were noticed, the service was good but that in of itself put somewhat of a damper on my evening. FOOD: The lamb chops & seafood rolls were good. The roasted oysters were ...let's say different than what I'm used to...they were not \bad\ but they were not necessarily all that appetizing. Also, they seem to be conducting business as usual with the number of patrons in their establishment...meaning it seems like they have not cut back on the number of people in the restaurant in light of COVID.
