A great place to experience microlight flying. I have been training here now for a year and their instructors are very professional and experienced. From a training perspective, the airfield has plenty of runways so it is rare that you have to take off or land with a significant crosswind, allowing for more circuit training opportunities as any crosswind will be light. The club house itself is small but functional, with tea and cake often available. There is a large viewing area just outside the club house for spectators to watch the microlights take off and land, as well as the skydiving aircraft and the skydivers who jump out of it. If you are hungry, you can go next door to the skydiving club and buy drinks, bacon butties, etc, although it is a bit pricey there. Prices for experience flights and training at this club are reasonable, be sure to check out their website for more details. There is also a nice bunch of people at this small microlight club who are very welcoming to visitors, other club members and they are also very supportive to people who are currently in training.

Never thought I could afford to learn to fly, but at AAA Microlights its affordable and fun. They also drink a lot of tea! I'm loving learning to fly with them in their C42, it's a great little club and worth the 60 min drive for me to get there!
