Nice area, wouldn't recommend to go when it's took hot which is when we went, but definitely worth a visit. Hill was bigger than I expected from reviews I'd seen. View from top was lovely and free car parking.

Excellent country park near Langwith. Lots of off shoots from the main pathway. There is water with metal sculptures, rocks to climb. Extremely close to the railway line so keep an eye out if your dog is off lead. I walked about 3 miles and didn't see a quarter of what's on offer. Not crowded on the day I visited.

Surprisingly quiet, a very pleasant open space for walking. Lots of criss-crossing paths to make the journey easier for short visits or longer excursions into the countryside. Free parking.

Plenty of seating areas,great views,big open spaces,good footpaths and cycling routes,horse riding has some good paths to follow,what mird could you ask for on the doorstep
