Casa Ciriaco is a traditional restaurant and my favorite place in Madrid to share a meal and conversation in a great environment (there aren't too many tourists, you will find local people there and see how Spanish people share a meal and conversation). The dishes are not overpriced. The room ist overwhelming for its category (very clean). Ambiance can be found in the complete tableware range: napkins and table clothes and candles. The servers are clothed in a white garment and they do their job: friendly and attentive. You can still get a good rib there (entrecôte). We enjoyed it; it was tasty and juicy. The restaurant is located in the Major Street closed to the cathedral and the King Palace. You can take a break there for lunch while visiting the cathedral / King Palace.
