Very very good service, so polite and helpful. Meat had a fantastic sear on it, topped with all the pepper, however it felt just a tad bit chewy for my liking. Still delicious nonetheless. Wishing it came with more than three asparagus spears, that can’t be costing the restaurant that much money?? The truffle mashed potatoes were also very tasty. 4.5 stars seems more of an appropriate rating, but since you can’t do halves I didn’t want to knock them down all the way to a 4.

Great service. Way overpriced for a plain filet mignon. Can get the same quality steak anywhere
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! A LIL PRICEY, BUT WELL WORTH EVERY DOLLAR!!
We were traveling through Lubbock and I asked a friend who is from there to recommend a restaurant. He described Las Brisas as the best steak in Lubbock hands down! So we decided to give it a try. While I can't comment on Lubbock steak houses, in my opinion this is one of the best steak houses in the US. From the seasoning to the crisp skin the steak was awesome! They also have a great wine menu and the asparagus and truffle mashed potatoes that come with the steak were a perfect compliment.
The steaks are excellent (melt in your mouth) however, (being that is cost over 250 for 2 people with a bottle of the lower priced wine) I was disappointed with the atmosphere. It was loud, lights too bright, other diners and employees dressed like it was Applebee's. Fine dining really doesn't exist anymore. I think I will choose to save the money and eat steak at home.
