I’m a passionate war gamer, I collect a variety of models and I so happened to be nearby and heard about the store, We dropped in today (Sunday) and all I can describe it as, was disappointing. We walked through the door and the most friendly thing there was the black lab. there are 3 main rooms and I went into all three and said hello to which came dormant stares and eyes that just said ‘we’re playing go away’ 6 people in the shop, all playing games and I couldn’t tell who was staff and who were customers Nobody replied to me, I was ignored entirely. In my opinion a war gaming shop should be fun and welcoming, it’s a community after all, but that was not the reception I got Felt uncomfortable after a couple minutes and left I hope it’s not always like that and judging from other reviews it can be good sometimes, I just hope I caught the shop at a bad time. Overall I’m disappointed TLDR: Only not giving it a 1 star because of respect for the rest of the war gaming community.

Great place.
Really nice guy in the shop with an amazing variety of games not just the standard they all seem to have. The welcome we got from the gorgeous dog was worth the visit alone. Prices are good and the shop is well organised.
