A very good family experience in Central London. The food is very overpriced for the quality, but given this is central London you can expect this. A fantastic setting, with helpful friendly staff. My children love coming here

A really nice little store with a larger than expected restaurant set over two underground floors. The Entire restaurant and shop is set with a rainforest theme with animals such as big cats, elephants and monkeys throughout - they even have a fishtank!! Some of the animals do move, with real life sounds and they even have a thunderstorm (soundtrack) and lightning (flashing spotlights) every so often

Service was fantastic. Could not fault that at all. That was 5 star. The staff made such a fuss of the little 2 year girl I was with. The girl loved the atmosphere. The food. Oh dear. My friend had the ribs. They were exceptionally fatty. Little if any meat. We raised this and the meal was replaced with no problem. The replacement salad main was very poor. My fish and chips was average at best. For what it cost it was in my opinion over priced. Pros - excellent staff - faultless. Atmosphere for a 2 year old - excellent. Cons - food poor to average - overpriced. If it had not been for the excellent staff I would have made more of a complaint about the food. I have been there before with the same friend and little girl. Food then was again poor to average at best. I only went for the experience for the little girl. I'd like to take her again but I very much doubt I would due to the food quality.

The waitress we had was really nice. My salad was great. But the sneaky service charge on the check is wrong. When you seat customer’s you should be upfront before issuing the bill. It is up to the customer if they want to leave a tip. Not all restaurants add service charges. I don’t mind tipping but it’smy choice. I doubled tipped as I was unaware of the charge. Not cool.

The atmosphere was really good, warm and welcoming. But the food was probably the worst I have ever eaten. We ordered a vegetarian linguine dish and linguine with added chicken, and a vegan burger with fries., mash potato and cheese dippers. The main meals were totally bland, absolutely no taste, no salt, pepper, spices, nothing!!! I couldn't believe when we got the bill and paid 112! And this was without desert, because we thought if the food was this bad then the deserts would be equally bad. Also noticed a lot of people left most of there food on their plates uneaten! This is a popular restaurant for tourists who come here, who are used to eating really flavoursome and tasty food back home where they come from. Come on Rainforest cafe, change your chefs and menu asap. Really disappointed!!!!
