Fabulous food in a great relaxed atmosphere. This place is a real gem. Great vegan options and our toddler always enjoys the feast. Thank you for always being so welcoming. Highly recommend.

It’s been ages since we last had Ethiopian/Eritrean food so we decided to give Merkato a try. For starters we had the hummus & Ajbo Ms'Hamli. For main we had the combo 2 & combo 6 so we could try a wide variety of dishes. There was spicy beef, lamb, chicken & fish and lots of vegetarian lentil dishes to mop up with Injera. All of it was really tasty and the customer service was friendly and very homely. I highly recommend and will likely return.
Incredible food, worth a try for sure if you haven’t tried this cuisine type already. The proprietary is so kind and always smiling. They suggested what we should try and it was really good. Loved the dinner!
Great authentic ethiopian food. Tried the cheese and spinach starter along with the humous and then the vegan combo for main. All it it was fantastic. Definitely worth trying!
What a place ! Really enjoyed our meal here. Amazing service and owners who loved sharing their culture and food. Such healthy and fresh food. How good is Ethiopian ! Vegan friendly options and very reasonable prices.
