After having been recommended the store by a colleague I decided to visit. I normally go to Pauls, as I work on Thurloe Street, but decided to try out Gail's this time, and although the muffin I had was lovely the service was some of the rudest and most off putting I have ever received. Mainly from one the young lady who works there, when I pointed out that the tea was cold and drowned in milk , without having allowed the tea bag to steep at all, and asked if I could have it done again, proceeded to throw a tea bag at the counter, slam down a tub of milk and a cup of hot water and turned her back to me. Not a nice way to start a Monday and will never come back again. Thankfully the Gail's in my hometown of Windsor is full of friendlier staff.

Everything smells good and freshly baked. Service is quick and clean! The only bad thing is that it always seems packed so you can order take away but not sit down

Easter Sunday 2019 and I had the best Hot Cross Bun I've ever tasted. I went to many bakeries looking for hot cross buns, this was so worth the search and the wait! Happy Easter Gail's

Delicious coffee and fresh blueberry muffin. Quite small so you have to sit outside or takeaway - but that complies well with covid safety!

Lovely surprise hidden in this small corner next to the Natural History. The coffee is good and the sweets are awesome !
