I have just come home after spending 28 days at moving forward. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. Staff are amazing. I learnt a lot about my addiction as well as myself. Made new friends with fellow residents. I felt safe and cared for. I would 100% recommend moving forward...I can now lead a happy and sober life thanks to all of their help.

I have just returned home after 4 weeks of recovery at Moving Forward which was a great experience. The staff are incredibly knowledgable, kind, patient and friendly. The whole environment is as though you are part of a family. The facilities are superb and nothing is too much trouble, there are small class sizes, sometimes 1:1 which ensure easy understanding of all you are taught. A big thank you to all at Moving Forward and I thoroughly recommend them.

Came to Moving Forward in a bit of a bad way. The staff were so caring and friendly and understanding. Different to other rehabs I have been to and have made friends for life who are so supportive of my recovery.

This is my second 28-day spell in rehab after 11 years and I can honestly say that I am overwhelmed by the quality, professionalism, knowledge and expertise of the staff at ‘Moving Forward’. They are so caring and the facilities, the food and the rooms are all first rate. We eat 3 delicious, nutritious meals together around the table every day. It's a comprehensive recovery program with a blend of the AA 12 steps, CBT, Mindfulness, Group Therapy, Yoga, Meditation, Psycho Education, plus one to one Counselling. I now fully understand the science behind how the primitive part of the brain (fight or flight) is hypersensitive in alcoholics. I am learning new strategies to train the human part of the brain to control the primitive brain compulsive, addictive urges to drink, during times of extreme stress. I've only been here a week and I'm feeling human again and I can't wait to discover more things I didn't learn from my first rehab. I am convinced I will leave here with many new tools, in addition to those I already picked up from AA over the last 12 years, which will prevent further relapses over the rest of my life.
