We commissioned Damian and James to create a new piece of stained glass to hide a building our hallway looks onto that complimented the original piece of stained glass at the bottom of the hallway. It was a great process from the start to completion. We couldn't be happier with the work and the service provided. They also mended the slight damage on the original glass and it's just like new! Would highly recommend and absolutely love our new stained glass window. Thank you so much.

We contacted James after seeing the outstanding work on his Instagram page. From the outset James went well beyond our expectations. As our house has no original leaded lights, we were unsure of what design would be suitable for our home. James advised us on designs that would suit the period of our house. He was also very understanding in making small tweaks to the design until we were sure it the correct design for us and our home. As we are based in Scotland James even sent a multitude of Glass samples to us and we held a remote consultation to decide on the glass combinations for the three glass panels we had commissioned. The transportation of the glass panels was again exemplary, and the panels arrived in Scotland very safely. Finally James even stayed in touch after the lights arrived. As we were fitting them ourselves James provided help and support in the form of video calls, video tutorials and emails to make sure the glass panels were fitted correctly. From beginning to end it was a pleasure to work with James and his colleagues. We are really happy!

Damian did an amazing job at restoring and double glazing the stained glass panels in our front door. The end result is a vast improvement, more secure and we're really happy with the job done. It was also one of the cheaper quotes we were given so excellent value for money! Communication was also excellent. Highly recommend.

We commissioned Sunderland & Son to create a window for our main stairwell to match the existing 1930s leaded windows in our entrance. They were able to design and match (including up-cycled period glass) our existing windows perfectly. Due to the size of the piece they were also able to create a custom frame and arrange instalment (which was quick and done to a very high level). James was professional, communicative, and fun to work with. These are amazing artisans and we highly recommend them. It was by far the easiest and most pleasurable renovation we've done.

We recently commissioned a piece of work from D, Sunderland & Son, and we are absolutely delighted. We had an idea of what we wanted, but to be fair, we were a little undecided as to the exact nature of the design. We needn't have worried. We met with James, and after giving him our outline, he guided us through the process, listening to our ideas and putting them down on paper as a design, which was tweaked a couple of times in order to obtain just what we wanted. We were then shown multiple colour choices that matched our brief and we were able to choose what we thought suited us best. Having settled on the design James kept us informed of progress via email, showing us options of fonts style for the letters we wanted and including photographs as the piece came together. When we went to collect the piece we were absolutely delighted and it now hangs with pride in our hall for all to see. We have no hesitation in recommending James' work to anyone and are only too pleased to have found him.
