I was interviewed by Glenn Robinson (Director of GDL/LLB Academic Training) and Alison Tinker. These guys will ask you to either start with a presentation on a subject or ask you a few questions and then start. Glenn was a terrible interviewer. Glenn would say things like “thats the answer I wanted hear” and Allison will do the same but in a different way, however don’t be fooled. I answered somethings incorrectly and witnessed the same response so I knew they were not being honest in my interview. Also, anyone applying for a position as a lecturer at BPP should be aware how bad the administration is. The reason they hold open interviews is partly because they will accept almost anyone. If you’re serious about teaching I suggest not going to BPP. I didn’t even put effort into the application so I was surprised that I received an interview request. If you’re serious about teaching I suggest going somewhere else. If you want a job that pays reasonably well considering you have few skills and either you don’t have a master/Ph D or the better universities are not happy with your thesis work then BPP is for you…it’s the last choice. Note - I was informed by a eal\ professor from LSE that they never do presentation interviews. You're hired based on your academic merit and experience.
