Enjoyed a lovely evening. Situated in picturesque village church square. Full covid precautions. Good choice of delicious food. Served free amouse bouche, a piping hot potato soup, a sorbet between first and second courses, and a limoncello with the bill. Very reasonable prices. Excellent service.

Love this restaurant. Awesome service, first class food quality and presentation. Felt very safe there. Tables socially distanced and very clean.

Was able to improvise menu to make my meal Vegan without problems, I was stuffed and satisfied. Big portion with a decent price, staff was informative and friendly, when is unexpectedly started to rain offered us a table for inside in seconds, very clean and sanitary. Bread was in a sealed plastic bag too which was a suprize! lots of restaurants to choose from in area and I feel we sat and the best one :) thanks again!

First class food and servive at an absolutely fair price. I can recommend this place highly. We had the daily special - king prawns in a orange-mango-grapefruit setting which can only be described as divine - and the steak which was perfect and accompanied by delicious potatoes and vegetables. The complimentary soup was also top-notch. We will definitely treat ourselves to another dinner at Latini!

An excellent restaurant. When I eat out I always ask myself what effort has been done by the chef to prepare my order. Quite often I leave the restaurant feeling a bit cheated because the price is not justified. There is little effort and even less creativity. Sometimes ingredients are inferior. It is not so with this restaurant. Not so with this restaurant. I found it exceptional. Plates are original, proportionate in size and filling. More importantly, the food is something you rarely find in supposedly excellent restaurant. This one goes highly recommended.

A pleasant surprise, away from the busy prominades with delicious food, great service and excellent presentation. We were a big group so we tasted a mix of vegetarian, meat and fish and everything was to our satisfaction. We were served complimentary lemon sorbet in between courses as well. The waiter service was polite, timely and the servants didn't look exhausted Reasonable priced and location is in the main square facing the church. Recommended.

We have avoided Latini Restaurant for some reason since moving to Gozo 6 years ago. No one recommended it to us I guess. Why didn't they?! We tried it last night on the off chance and we're blown away. The location is actually terrific; the view of Xaghra Church is lovely. The welcome is friendly and the serving staff are polite (Covid careful) and extremely knowledgeable. Our server was able to list about 20 daily specials he had memorized that were not on the regular menu. There is an extensive wine list that all seemed good value, though we had local beer (usual price). There are free entrees, amouse bouche and palate cleansers. The chef was happy to adapt one of the starter dishes to make it vegetarian friendly (baked camembert) and the vegetarian risotto was incredibly tasty. Not at all bland, but fresh and zingy. The chicken pâté was light and full of flavour without being dense and claggy. The mixed grill special (wild boar, quail and duck) was delicious and all cooked to perfection. The array of chutney's, and sauces that accompany the meat and cheese dishes were very tasty too. All the dishes were beautifully presented, too. No room for dessert...perhaps next time. The only criticism of the menu is that there could be a few more exciting vegetarian options. The chef is clearly extremely capable so we are going to see if we can stretch him. We are definitely going to return soon as I can honestly say this is currently the best fine dining on the island and it won't break the bank either. The picture is of my empty plate after the mixed grill. I think it says just as much as a shot of the actual food. Delicious!
