THE BEST AND DRIEST LOGS IN THE AREA. We always support local family owned firms who will go that extra mile to please ...even when it's not their fault! By this I mean along with our regular delivery of the best quality logs from these good people, last week we also ordered some coal but unfortunately every bag was wet and as we all know, burning wet coal seriously damages your flue. But how were LAJ supposed to know this as they were pre-bagged and sealed upon delivery to them? So all it took was a call and hey presto problem solved and soggy coal bags were replaced. Nice one Jo and Sam. I'll continue to use them because of their first class service in all areas. PS. I note someone has given them a one star review and suggested they AVOID! All I can say is that I personally will always AVOID \people\ who give one star reviews just because a lorry breaks down... come on fella, as my D-Day veteran dad used to say \s**t happens!

Can’t agree with the previous review. I have used them twice. They were responsive to my phone call and both orders delivered within 2 days. The logs have been a good size for my log burner and burn well. I’m a happy customer.
Very friendly, responsive and honest service. They mentioned that their truck had a few problems last winter (unsurprisingly given the weather!), They were upfront about having a backlog as a result but mabaged to deliver within a realistic timeframe. Quality of wood is great, have bought, mixed, hardwood and kiln dried all of which was of good size for log burners too. Recommended!
Extremely Poor Service. Took 3 days to acknowledge the order and then to say they were busy, then that the lorry had broken down, to provide a delivery date of 9 days after the order was placed ! AVOID
