It was quite good, but I think it used to be better before all the tourists came here. The service could have been better, there were not enough waiters I believe.

Tucked away ''underground'' , this restaurant breathes authenticity and character and is frequented by locals too Service was very good and friendly. Good quality ingredients, honest and pure. Mind you, they serve big portions [for primi piatti], ask for small [mezzo] portions if you want to enjoy a main dish / dessert too.

This place is a tourist catch. We enjoyed the starter, anchovies in three different styles. For the rest, it was rather bad. First they kept us outside waiting for about 10 minutes with another 15 people. They basically did not open on time and were not ready for their 19:30 service. No apologies! Then, they brought the mains while we had not even finished the starter. My wife ordered penne with shrimps, but there were only three tiny ones. Also, They did not even serve the wine in the glasses and we had to do it ourselves, as well as asking for an ice bucket (see the picture). There is a much better restaurant few meters away on the same street.

Great, wholesome, regional food at very fair prices - the type of place we’ve been looking for in Italy! We went on a quiet Tuesday at the end of October so there was no wait and we didn’t book. Don’t expect to have everything spoon-fed to you, you’ll have to shell your own prawns and de-bone your own sea bass, which was 100% fine for us. Pesto linguine and prawn penne were great, sea bass was delicious. Recommend this place!

This place was highly recommended by our Airbnb host for authentic local food. Food and wine is affordable with good portion. Very unique and spacious restaurant that looks like an underground cellar with low ceilings. Overall, we find the food was edible nothing fancy or special, but many locals do dine there so reservation is a must! Even on weekdays
