One of a very few original Danish Bar's left in CPH. Great place for a beer and a friendly talk with the locals
A hidden gem, one of the last truly local bars in the area. Snugly located on the fringes of Vesterbro, between Enghave Plads and Carlsberg. Eclectic clientele of friendly regulars and in the evenings crowds of younger patrons. Always boasts a friendly, chilled ambience and absolutely lovely staff. Major football matches shown on TV, otherwise music from a jukebox with a massive choice of songs of all genres ( Dylan or Stones usually goes down well ). Do not expect insanely expensive swanky cocktails or craft beer, but pints at reasonable prices. Smoking allowed inside. No food served. Most credit cards accepted.Open from midday to midnight on weekdays, weekends.. later depending on the action. My recommandation - Go there without any hesistation, have a beer, gradualy become a regular guest and frown upon gentrification of the Copenhagen bar scene with the other class geezers at the bar :-)
Your average pub, I have experienced there being watched soccer but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. Funny decorations with helmets on the walls make it an interesting place.
Best place for cozy beer in Copenhagen, also great place to watch football :)
