Beautiful ancient synagogue and graveyard with grave of several famous sages. Worth a visit as it's probably one of the few places preserved after the war and the graves undisturbed, though I don't know to what extent the synagogue had to be restored or was simply somehow spared the disastrous consequences of the holocaust. It is probably not so easy to access in a wheelchair on your own but with help you would probably manage the synagogue. The graveyard paths are probably too uneven and narrow for a wheelchair but you should at least be able to have a peek. I suspect that much of the centre of Kazimiriez is challenging in a wheelchair, given the cobblestone paving.

Nice to see and i've found out that instead of fresh flowers they offer stones on the grave
An interesting place to visit. Recommended
While the synagogues are not as ornate as the many Catholic churches in Krakow, this one has an austere kind of beauty with its patterned ceiling, and richly decorated walls. Read up on the history of the synagogue before visiting to truly understand its historic importance. The entry fee includes a yarmulke for the men, as well as entrance into the cemetery, where one can see the wall made from incomplete gravestone fragments during the rehabilitation of the cemetery.
This place is small, but we'll preserve. The entrance fee is 10pln and allow you to go inside the synagogue and to the cemetery next to it. There are lots of places to eat nearby.
It's a small synagogue with a small Jewish cemetery currently under reconstruction. The man who was selling tickets was smoking at the same time. Entrance is 10 zloty.
Really wanted to see it, but it was closed for visitors. Information wasn't there on internet so couldn't visit. Maybe it can be added on Google maps by the concerned people. Heard it is really good.
An old place still in use to find about jewish life
