Now a days they are using nice oil, specially samosha's recipe is nice. One suggestions to the owner, it's completely my point of view that staffs should wear good cloths. Now a days outlook matters

Tasty & fresh fastfood at reasonable price. Famous for kachuri & jilipi. Tea is also good.

Kolkata Foodie Dibyajit

*Follow kolkata.foodie.dibyajit at Instagram and Zomato for more drooling pics and unbiased reviews* Went there last Sunday as it's an iconic place for an ideal breakfast consisting of hot Kachoris, Aloo Sabzi and 3 to 4 kinds of sweets. There was a queue and the workers are fast. Started off with tea and had some kachories which were fried immediately. The aloo sabzi was brilliant. Finished off with jilipis. However, the tea at Maharani is better than that of Maharaj, though the price is all same. Awesome breakfast on less than 50 bucks per head. kolkata.foodie.dibyajit

It is a great place for snacks for more than last 2 decade and is a still good choice...but the way people socializing over there is not good. The shop is maintaining all safety measures but the people who are visiting, they are not maintaining the rule of social distancing. All the pros and cons are there, now make a decision of your own...

Located on the road side, this stall is famous for its tea and snacks. Went there on mahalaya morning and had tea, jalebi, and kochuri alur dom. Food taste was good and would definitely recommend, and a bonus is that it is served in disposable leaf plates. Must try if you want to get what original Kolkata road side food tastes like.

Its only the hype..food quality (hing kachori with alu sabji and green mirchi achar) is average but they serving it hot and fresh. Requesting all of you to take the kachori and sabji in two separated plates
