It is a very old oria hotel. This place serves the food in traditional thalis and even on banana leaves if asked for. You can also sit on the floor and enjoy your meal in a traditional way. I used to have my regular supper here when I was a college student. This place offers very tasty food at pocket friendly price. Varieties of fish curry are available here. This hotel is also famous for its mutton curry which is available from 1.00pm. No other non-veg dishes(egg dishes) are cooked here. Hostel residents are mostly found here as a customer. The whole staff works very fast and efficiently.

This hotels age is around 100 years old. By tradition they serve quality foods at reasonable rate. Here u can sit in ground also and enjoy dishes. I am very satisfied with their hospitality.

The place with a lot of memories..... basically this place is situated in the middle of mg road and Girish Park... besides normal people,travellers many students of pg (like me) eat food their regularly.... One of the best price hotel of KOLKATA....... they don't provide chicken and egg....they serve 2-3 types of bhaji, Dal, a variety of fishes, mutton (excluding Thursday),chutney etc.... Little bit unhygienic but the taste and quality of food beat this easily... Most recommended place for authentic Bengali food....
