Very authentic food. The momo was awesome. I had my best ramen bowl here. The pork was perfect with right amount of meat and fat.

If you're looking for a restaurant in Kolkata that offers authentic and delicious cuisines from the Darjeeling hills, Nepal, Tibet, China and Bhutan - this is the place to dine at! Hill's Kitchen serves a variety of mouth-watering dishes that are not only unique in the city but also a delightful treat to foodies. Very pocket-friendly, tasty and visually stimulating - this place is a must-visit for all food lovers!

Kolkata is a lot more than just Roll, Biriyani and Puchka and being a true foodie i always explore the city in search of different cuisines and its culture. There is no doubt that Kolkata has every cuisine from around the world and country, Its just we are not aware about it. So with that note i really wanna highlight this wonderful gem Place which has already spread its magic in the south and now it is opened in New Town near to my place, serving some really authentic Bhutanese, Nepalese and Chinese Cuisine. We all love Chinese Food but Chinese food served here is just heavenly delicious and its taste like magic on your taste buds and trust me when i say this. Just Opposite to Shapoorji this is a really cozy, comfortable restaurant with beautiful sitting arrangement of 10 people and with an open kitchen which will surely tantalize your cravings. Now coming to the Food we tried the following and i will highly recommend all the following: Pork Jhol Momo (10/5) Momo Platter (5/5) Kewa Datsi with Red Rice (10/5) Aloo Mimi (Tried for the first time its a famous Darjeeling street food and do give it a try you will surely thank me later) Ema Datsi Just Give this place a visit, i am sure you will not only love the peaceful cozy ambiance, but also the true culture of sitting on floor and eating this authentic dishes. Visit to Hill's kitchen proved to be a good decision to have the cuisine from the hills. This is located at Shapoorji near the Shukhobrishti complex. A cosy parlour with two sitting areas, homely food, cool ambience and much more. Hill's Kitchen brings in the authentic dishes from Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. The menu is quite elaborate and some dishes would be very to the locals of Kolkata. And some preparations are exclusively found in Hill's Kitchen. We were served- Aloo thukpa- this was sauteed noodles topped with aloo curry made of red chilli paste. Momo platter - this had four steam momos, four kothey momos, four fried momos and fries. Momos here are out of the world. They're both soft and juicy! Red rice and kewa datshi - you'd find red rice only in here. Red rice is healthy packed full of fibre. Kewa datshi is curry having potatoes and cheese, thick and rice in taste. Noodles with chicken chilli -this was Schezwan noodles with chicken chilli, this is a noodle combo which was absolutely delicious. Hill's kitchen special bowl - this one had fried rice, two momos and chicken shyapta. All the goodness in one bowl. Tasty as well as tummy filling. Pork meat balls - I loved these. The balls were not overfried but kept a decent fried cover all over. Inside the pork was juicy with delicately mixed spices. Chicken wings - good shaped wings and to perfection. It was lip smacking. Jhol momo- a very unique combo. By jhol they mean curry. So basically the momos are dipped in a curry made of peanut and sesame paste. Pork ribs - the ribs had juicy barbeque sauce on them with sesame seeds sprinkled on them. Totally unputdownable! My experience at Hill's Kitchen was really great. This place is worth the visit. The food is flavoursome and also homely. So the people from the hills and also the locals of Kolkata would absolutely enjoy it.
