Value and great food. From kobe sanomiya station, head to exit A6, past san plaza, center plaza to plaza west b1f. 3 kinds: egg, sauce and korean. Long queue that extends to center plaza. Use the vending machine at the entrance to order. Can customise size and number of eggs. Open kitchen so you can watch them cook while waiting for your dish. English, chinese and korean menu available. Around 700-800 for basic bowl. Tried the egg and the sauce. Egg is good but the sauce taste just like bbq sauce.

The Pork is juice and with crunchy flower clothes. And the rice is full of great sauce; overall it's yummy and cheap.

Very good katsudon (breaded pork cutlet with rice).The meat is good quality and very juicy. The basic katsudon is 680 yen, you can pay 100 yen for a better quality cut of pork. They have 3 types of katsudon: regular (with egg), sauce and Korean mayonnaise. You can pay extra for extra egg, large katsu or double katsu. A bowl of akadashi (shellfish stock) soup is only 50 yen. You order by the touch panel terminal (it has English) and then wait in line to get a seat. I went on Saturday at lunchtime and waited about 15 minutes. An eat and run kind of place. A good place for a quick, cheap and delicious lunch.

Quick and tasty katsudon counter. Good value and high quality. Buy a ticket from the machine first. There is almost always a wait at lunch and dinner, but the line moves fast.

This bar style restaurant serves only Katsudon. I tried Katsudon at lunch because I saw a long line the previous day. They made my Katsudon so quick. I felt it so tasty. Price is not so high under 1000 yen.
