I read the \what we believe\ and know where is JESUS, GOD or the HOLY SPIRIT mentioned. Spirituality in self is my understanding. GOT JESUS? What's going on here??? Mr Rogers is quoted in the church bio. My goodness, I wish I could find a good church out here!

They admit themselves that they are 'barely a church' and so if a church is what you're looking for then this isn't that. If you are looking for a church that takes Jesus at his word (see John 14:6) then this isn't that. If however you are looking for a very undefined spiritual gathering that very accurately captures the post-truth, whatever you feel culture this will be perfect for you. Lot's more could be said but the attached picture from a recent worship service will give you a taste of the 'anything goes' approach they currently ascribe to.

If you're looking to be a part of a positive organization / church where nobody judges you based upon your beliefs, sexual orientation, race, religious background (or anything else) this is the perfect place for you to be. I have just attended my second Sunday at this church and so far I love it. Before I found this church I was looking for a non-denominational church that was free of dogmas and accepted everybody without forcing any specific belief upon you. You can take sacrament or light a candle or neither, is up to you. I truly feel like everyone is welcome here.

I love this spiritual community and their openness. This is a fully affirming gathering of humans that leaves room for questions and disagreements. They are not seeking to all agree on doctrine, so if that is something you need in your spiritual community, then you will want to find that elsewhere. If, however, you are seeking a safe space to connect with the Divine, with other people, and with yourself, in a non-dualistic expression, then this is going to feel like home for you.

I was a part of EastLake at the Monroe campus on the worship team for 2 1/2 years. The writings were on the wall as far as their direction they have gone, when they launched into the contemplative spirituality series several months before ‘coming out’ as a culturally relevant “inclusive church“. They went a whole different theological direction. They do not subscribe to Jesus as the one Way, one truth and one life. They believe that whatever furthers the betterment of their human existence is what’s truth. That could be from the book of Mormon, Buddha, the Koran - you choose. They do not subscribe to Jesus Christ alone. Sad. I like Ryan Meeks, he has a heart for people. He’s incredibly gifted. But it’s nothing new under the sun when scripture says, “there will be many false teachers”. Beware.
