We had a lovely in here and moored our narrowboat right next to it, the staff were very friendly and helpful .

Really nice location. Good choice of food drinks at a reasonable price. Ordered drinks at the bar and a couple of burgers. Burgers seem to be home made and lack any seasoning. Also, apparently, served pink. I don't mind a pink burger, and my Mrs can't eat them. Both bled all over our plates and when asked by a member of staff if all was okay, she said no, and was told that's how they come so next time order it well done! No offer of fixing it! Real shame, really nice place not far from home but we won't be back!

It was just OK - nothing special. Staff not really interested or welcoming. She dropped the butter pat from my plate when serving it - said she would replace it but didn't (and left it on the the floor). Ploughman's meal was very heavy on the pickle - though the bread, ham and cheese were good. Lovely location but no plans to return...

Lovely place to have a nice meal next to a canal. Food was hot, freshly cooked and large. Staff lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend

We went there for Sunday Lunch and it was packed, a sure sign that the place is popular. It was actually a struggle to find a parking space. I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered a steak with pepper sauce. The steak was nice enough but I would have liked it to be served with at least one green veg. My plate was very brown. The rest of my family went for the carvery and found the turkey very dry, the beef very tough and chewy and the vegetables boiled to death. Despite all this, we had a great time. So I would recommend the pub side but not the restaurant.
