Mature woodland with good paths. Excellent, free, parking. Very good walk.
Sprawling forest with many options for walkers. A couple of car parks give plenty of space and multiple routes to take. Opportunities to explore away from the beaten path abound, and rumours of a ghost will have you peering this way and that. The Glen path is probably my favourite route here, with great variation in trees and scenery. A visit in the snow is magical indeed!
Lovely place so big with lots of offshoot paths. Need to visit again and find out more about ‘the beast of Blairadam’. Lovely that a burn runs right through it. Perfect for dogs too.
Just totally BEAUTIFUL, peaceful and captivating.
