Let’s get over the cell phones please. No phones while taking your test? Sure, makes sense. While waiting OUTSIDE the test room? Pointless and silly. Signs say “silence ringers” but trooper told me to turn it completely off, before I even walked in the test room. Can’t even follow their own dumb rules correctly.

The MSHP office is in the basement, room G1. Went at noon and there was no wait at all. Very friendly officers and they had the books I needed.

Be ready to do what's right... Masks and social distancing! The officers at this location are very friendly and made the whole experience stress free.

This is the correct location for Driving Exam and Written Driver Exam (this exam is on computer). You take the elevator to G-1. The Driving Exam and written driver exam are free. You can take the written exam 2 times per day. If you pass the written exam you can take the driver exam same day or within one year.
