I took my son Jake to train at K-Team while we were in Oahu. Professor Kimo is an excellent BJJ instructor! Experienced and highly knowledgeable. Very detailed with the moves he is showing the class. I recommend this gym, you will learn a lot! I will bring my son back here again whenever we come back to Oahu.

We love K-Team! Very family friendly & family oriented! Coaches are knowledgeable & my daughter loves them! My daughter has been going for about 2yrs now & she has shown an immense amount of growth mentally & physically. It’s always a good time at the adult classes as well! They teach at all skill levels. Highly recommend!!!
We love K-team! My son started a year and a half ago and we loved it so much that we also signed up my daughter. The coaches are great with the kids and very knowledgeable. I have noticed that my kids are more confident, disciplined and look forward to going to practice. Overall, I would rate this place 10 stars if I could!
I have trained off and on in several martial art disciplines throughout my lifetime. I have worked-out in various dojos and have had many different martial art instructors — Kimo and his team of coaches are EXCELLENT — even now, as I rack up those advanced-aged issues I still have fun rolling with the guys and gals. Yes, us women can have fun too!
The staff and team there are awesome and very welcoming. Whenever I visit home, this is the place I visit even though home is in Salt Lake. The instruction is very clear and if you have any questions, they're able to break things down even more. Their kids looks very top notch as well. I've never seen a full class as I dont have kids but when I showed up early, the kids are well behaved and practicing the technique.
