Today my buddy and I had a fantastic lunch at Cafe Halvvejen. We had a nice little table outside to enjoy the great weather. The service deserves 6/5 stars. Very friendly, helpful and funny. It's always great to see people having fun and loving their job! The food was amazing aswell! If you're in Copenhagen and looking for a bite & a beer, check this place out!

Cafe Halvvejen is my favourite place in Copenhagen. Seriously. A Danish friend introduced me, when we walked in we were greeted by welcoming cheers, smiling faces... and glasses of great beer. Its a place full of locals, but with that easy, friendly vibe that makes anyone feel at home. It turns out it also serves one of the best traditional Danish lunches in the city as well. The bar is on a quiet side street, you walk down a few steps into the bar itself which is cosy, full of curios and charm. Outside there are sweet, flower adorned tables where you can enjoy the peaceful flow of Copenhagen life. In these corona times it’s a place that feels safe, welcoming and perfect to just relax and enjoy. Truly a gem of a place - I really recommend you visit.
Visited with a friend and we both really enjoyed it. Traditional bar food, fresh veggies, hot meat, cold pints. The service was absolutely amazing. The goodbye was in german - our native language - and followed by some italian bitter. Would give 6/5 if I could!
Very nice place and as usual, super service from the Danes. The food was superb and fresh made. The cafe is small and only has 5 tables but can seat 6 at the bar so you need to book in advance. You wont be disappointed.

Great cozy atmosphere; amazing food! I had the Danish stew and it was a huge portion of meat, potatoes, etc spiced to perfection. It is also fairly cheap at less than 10 Danish kroner for menu items. Highly recommended!
