Very expansive place ...small serves ... Booked a week in advance asked about vegan options the owner told me that we could find on the menu online when we got there only 3 options.. 4 tap beers on the menu only 1 pilsen in the house..after our dinner we went back home to have food and drink.. not worthy at all. .. if you you appreciate the money from you hard work... My apologies garnishment for the plates were good but you can feed birds with that amount of food.

We had an absolutely delightful night at Cocina & Co. The menu is diverse and the items we had were delicious. The thing that put the proverbial icing on the cake was that the business is family run and they make you feel like family. Being Easter long weekend, bookings were required almost everywhere in the Snowy Region. We called Cocina and they were booked full, however said we could come in and take a chance that someone cancelled. So, we got ready for the potential disappointment... 10 minutes later, we got a call from Donna saying that a cancellation had come in and that our booking for 4 people was possible! Now, that's service with a smile. Donna and Con also recommended the Lake Lights Sculptures show, just 5 minute walk along the lake. It was FABULOUS! We didn't get to thank them for the suggestion, but it was very much appreciated. Hopefully they see this review. :-)
Dire queue management which was allowed to build up and there was no acknowledgement of us being stood there. Once we did finally grab a member of staff and were seated, the waitress was really attentive and helpful. As a vegetarian diner, the variety on offer was good and the food was executed well.
A perfect last night of our holiday! Amazing service - so accommodating and helpful of me being coeliac and needing to ask so many questions! Incredibly delicious and fall off the bone pork ribs and super delicious wine and chocolate gelato! The owners were front of house and so lovely and friendly! They told us they have just sold the business to an ex head chef of theirs so might go back to being mainly Mexican themed but I’m sure it will still be amazing!
Everything we tried was tasty, and the staff was quite nice and helpful. We loved the churros and the roasted mushrooms. The fried polenta is a great starter although a bit oily. We also tried the beef cheeks, really well cooked. It's a bit fatty, but there's no rubbing away from that with beef cheeks.
The restaurant earned all five stars (and more) this evening. Exceptional food, great staff and a relaxed, comfortable ambience. We came here expecting Mexican cuisine but apparently the owner pivoted to the more eclectic current menu back in September 2020. We were NOT disappointed with any of our selections. The service was not without fault (a few minor stuff-ups) but every member of staff we encountered came across as genuinely caring, and engaged in their work. This has been one of the highlights of our visit to Jindabyne. I'd rate it as a must-visit if you're in town. Just remember to book in advance as COVID distancing requirements have limited their seating capacity. TIP: See if you can get a seat upstairs where it's a little quieter than the main dining area downstairs.
Amazing service and amazing food! From the time we walked in the owner spotted us and was very welcoming. We ordered a few of the small plates to share and the potions were good and reasonable priced. Would highly recommend this place.
The menu is very flexible for vegetarian and non vegetarian diners which was great for us. The food was really tasty, as were the cocktails. Check it out if you are in the area. Also the staff are very attentive and friendly.
