Wow! If you are looking for a company that really loves xero landscaping and does fabulous design, you can stop right here. With butterfly and hummingbird native plants, you are supporting the environment with beauty too! Robert and his crew are on time, work hard, good people. Being an artist I had a few ideas. Robert listened carefully, and took in to account what I thought. He is brilliant in his design... a natural. We started out with a small job with him and had such a fabulous experience we had him do our whole front yard, then spruce up the backyard and landscape four fenced in mini gardens for us to enjoy from the inside of our home. The best experience I have had with any company doing any work. You won’t be disappointed!

Robert was creative with our front yard redesign. He designed and installed a terrace/wall on our sloped lot that looks amazing. He also suggested lots of native butterfly plants and we absolutely love our new \moving and living\ landscaping. We were so happy with him and his professional team that we hired them for regular yard maintenance. Our yard has never, ever looked so good.
Robert and his crew were recommended by our tree surgeon, who advised us that Robert was knowledgeable about plants as well as landscaping, yard maintenance and clean-up. Robert responded quickly to our call and we were satisfied with his service, especially since we requested that he not use pesticides and weedkillers and he had no problem with that. He and his crew trimmed our hedges and trees using aesthetic judgment, and replaced dead shrubs and added fresh mulch. We were so pleased with the results that we have now contracted for regular service.
I hired Robert and his team to landscape the front of my house which is being remodeled. They did so quickly and beautifully, using Florida-friendly landscaping with plants that can tolerate the sandy soils that don't retain water. When the aloe plants he intended to use looked peaked from the winter frosts, he substituted a similar, hardier, and more expensive plant but did not increase his price. If you want landscaping that aesthetically and functionally matches the north Florida environment, Robert is the guy to hire.

Ivy League Landscapes/Robert Ritter is an excellent landscaper and extremely knowledgeable. The yard at the sorority house was looking tired and worn out. We had some very mature shrubs that were lanky and leafless on the stocks with very little green. Our previous landscaper told us they had been trimmed and they would come back. They didn't look like they were coming back in my life time! So, based on several different areas of the plants looking the same, it was time for a change in landscapers. Robert and his crew jumped in immediately and worked diligently for days whipping it into shape in time for the girls to return for the fall semester. It was beautiful and he has continued to tweak things each visit. As a business owner and a Gainesville native, I highly recommend them whether it is your personal home or your business. It was definitely the best leap of faith for us!
